It has become apparent that.

I received a forward of an email sent to the admin of a site

Subject: Haven’t you more important things to prioritize?

A person who rants constantly on being a man of God and has the nerve to discuss ethics makes a site of this nature? WOW. Why am I not surprised though? Because this same man has proven himself time and time again to be 100x uglier inside then any of the people ridiculed on this stupid site.

I recently built for a small fee which was strangely confusing. The content of the email seemed to suggest that I am the owner of the site when in fact I only built the site after being contacted about it. It’s even registered in my moojoobee.com domain list as I am the referer to this domain. This is why I include anti-affiliation statements in the footer of each site I work on. Lets not get confused people. And be careful *who* you become disgusted at. Fortunately I don’t have any ties with that site other than being the designer for the client, disgusted@aol.com in Tampa, FL. And I will never selfishly rant about being a man of God… never, maybe you would like to show me? I am in fact the least and only God will judge that. For your personal sake I will withhold your IP address, name, and phone number because I understand the confusion.

A social network site is GIVING MONEY to it’s members!

Another social network web site?

No, not exactly… even better

How many social netwok websites do you come across and cringe because they’re all a copy of one another? How many times do you just keep on searching for one that has that extra edge to keep you coming back? One company has finally done it and they are rocketing skyward because they’re offering something that NO other social network site has. This is history in the making and the people at SocialSplash.com have done it!

SocialSplash.com is unique in the sense that it does not just offer the user the option to meet other young people from all over the world; it does something no other social networking website does. Other than the ability to communicate with friends, share photos and videos, create blogs, use the forums to discuss current issues and events, create and join groups, play flash games, takes quizzes, and even create funny pictures using the great option of SplashPix.

In addition to all these great options, SocialSplash.com gives back to the user, unlike all other social networking websites, you earn the so called “Splash Points” which you can convert into gifts. I have never come across such a great concept offered by a community website like that. Whatever you do on the website, like uploading photos, creating a blog or a group, or even use the forums, you get Splash Points, and the more you collect, the better, because if you get a good number of points you can get a gift from the Splash Store.

Might I add that the splash points will currently earn you a $10 Best Buy Gift Card, $10 Starbucks Coffee Gift Card, $10 Blockbuster Gift Card, $20 Target Gift Card, and finally a 1GB Flash-Drive MP3 Player! NO OTHER SOCIAL NETWORK GIVES BACK TO THEIR MEMBERS!!! This site is 100% free and it gives back to it’s members.

333,304,647 people on social networks

Over 333,304,647 people on social networks and across the Web, according to http://wink.com/

Folks, the population of America as we know it today is 301,139,947 (July 2007 est.).  Has the internet overtaken our lives?  Whatever happened to social gatherings?  It seems like those who actually attend social gatherings have a happier outlook on life.  Where are my facts on this?  Just look at those people compared to those who are addicted to their own jail cell of the endless internet.  I really have nothing more to say on this except I am rather shocked at that figure.

Ugly Myspace Friends

Disclaimer: As stated below it says that this is one of my ideas. To clear this up I am the designer of the site, not the actual mind behind it. An idea from a friend was proposed to me about the ideology behind it and I was asked if I could build the site for a small fee. If you would like to contact the site owner and discuss their details please email them at uglymyspacefriends@gmail.com. Sorry for the confusion.

UglyMyspaceFriends.com. Just another one of my stupid ideas. It’s already paid for itself and then some. A friend of mine in Florida is helping me code it. He’s pretty successful (money) with these sites.

Internet Explorer is funny

I keep editing some minor code in the back-end and after being satisfied with it I begin to cross check the layout of MooJooBee with almost every known browser out there. I.E. seems to be the only one showing issues… go figure.  When you first enter MooJooBee with I.E. 7 you’ll notice the error in the bottom left hand side of your browser.  Only in IE…

I found that it’s not actually an error on my part but after further investigation with handle properties in IE I noticed it’s seemingly out of date already.  Good job, Microsoft, on the keep up of updates.  The good thing here, folks, is that the error in IE.7 will correct itself when you click on the “Share this” below each post.  No, I’m not trying to use this as an attempt to get you more involved (though that would be cool, rather, just showing you that Moojoobee is not at fault.
